The 2012-2013 CSSP Board of Directors held its first Regular Monthly Meeting for 2013 on January 26 at Bay, Laguna. The meeting was hosted by the Editor-in-Chief of the PJCS, Dr. Rhodora R. Aldemita. In attendance were Dr. Gabriel O. Romero (President), Ramon A. Oliveros (Vice-President), Dr. Ma. Rebecca C. Laza (Secretary), Dr. Victoria C. Lapitan (Treasurer), Ambrosio Raul R. Alfiler (PRO) and Reneeliza Jean A. Melgar (Board Member).

CSSP Board of Directors pay a courtesy call to the new Director of PhilRice, Dr. Eufemio T. Rasco Jr. during their monthly BOD Meeting held at PhilRice UPLB, College, Laguna on Dec 4, 2011 to solicit his support for the CSSP and the upcoming CSSP Convention to be held at Puerto Princesa City in April, 2012.
